Scott Poggensee
Director/Sr. Producer

Scott Poggensee is the Director and Sr. Producer for AtuA Productions. Mr. Poggensee first became interested in film making after hearing about an inmate in the Texas prison system that was thought to be innocent. Through his investigation, he was able to find information that proved the man's innocence. The documentary that followed has gained international attention and helped with the man's case. Since then, Mr. Poggensee has also dipped his toe into the pond of socially conscious films, including the current project "Warning Signs" -- the story of a high school freshman being bullied to the point of committing suicide. Mr. Poggensee hopes to help change the stigma of depression and suicide among our youth. He plans to make more films in the future to not only comment on different problems in society, but also how to talk about and fix them. Mr. Poggensee currently resides in the Dallas/Fort Worth metroplex in Texas. He has one awesome dog named Coco and enjoys going to movies and flying his drone in his spare time.
